Live episodes of your favorite sitcoms
We're turning Spirit Square's Duke Energy Theatre into a TV studio and inviting you to join us for live episodes of classic TV sitcoms. Be part of the studio audience as we travel back in time to the 1970's, 80's and 90's. You'll see our versions of three different sitcoms, plus live commercial breaks staged by our friends Robot Johnson (a local sketch comedy group).
And in keeping with the retro theme of this show, we've rolled back the ticket prices to only $15! Show times are 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from September 11 - 27, with one matinee at 2:30pm on Sunday, September 21. Location is the Duke Energy Theatre at Spirit Square (345 N. College Street in uptown). Don't miss your chance to see one of the most unique and fun theatre events of the year.

Check out our collaborators... Robot Johnson
We're excited to be working with Robot Johnson, a very funny local sketch comedy group. As our collaborators, they will be staging classic commercials as part of our Sitcoms Live! show. They're also performing their own show on Friday and Saturday nights at 10pm. So, think about staying for a double header...two shows, twice the fun! For more info about Robot Johnson, check out their website: http://www.robotjohnson.com

Thanks for Making the 2008 Charlotte Shakespeare Festival a Huge Success!
5,000 people saw our free productions of Romeo & Juliet and Much Ado About Nothing this summer. On behalf of the producers, cast and crew, we can't thank you enough for your attendance, your words of encouragement and your financial support. We're hard at work on plans to bring back the festival in 2009. You'll hear more from us later about those plans... so stay tuned, and, in the meantime, check out Sitcoms Live!
